Daniel Island Club Event featured Surf and Turf from the EVO Grill

EVO Grill Surf and Turf

Gray skies did little to dampen spirits for the kick off event of the Member to Member Golf Tournament at Daniel island Club in Charleston, South Carolina. The members came out to enjoy the Evo grill surf and turf menu and damp fun at the club. Filet mignon steaks were served hot of the grill and accompanied by lots of  other “man friendly” choices. There were grilled lobster tails, baked potatoes, Caesar salad, and a sundae bar. Oh yeah, and an open bar. You wouldn’t have guessed it was raining from the laughter and smiles as the guys lined up to watch Chef Tyler Dudley prepare a feast hot off the grill.

They stood in the drizzle and at times pouring down rain laughing and hitting balls with good friends. Then enjoyed the premium EVO Grill Surf and Turf dinner. Pouring rain seemed to go unnoticed. This is South Carolina, give it a minute and it will change. This event was held at the Men’s Locker Room area of the Club.  The Men’s Locker Room boasts a barber shop, lounge, billiards room, steam room and the outdoor patio pictured here. The patio has incredible views of the marsh and the 18th green of the Ralston Creek course. The Daniel Island Club itself has two nationally-ranked private golf courses which offer the choice of both a Tom Fazio and a Rees Jones designed championship course. Both courses have beautiful marsh views. The Daniel Island Club is at the center of the Park Side social life and community. It is itself nestled within the larger idyllic marsh and river front community that is Charleston’s Island town of Daniel Island SC. This is a lifestyle that many only dream of. Maybe it’s easy to see why these guys are smiling after all.

Rain? What Rain. When there’s golf, good friends, and amazing food the event outcome isn’t weather dependent.
